The answers behind this direction
Aarav Shah, what your study plan means
Bachelor → Master's in Mechanical. Your university will assess your qualification and the subjects you studied.
Courses in the same field can ask for different subjects and marks. Your marksheet and the chosen course determine which entry requirements you meet.
Your chosen course publishes its subject and marks requirements. An offer sets out any conditions you still need to meet. This report explains the country rules and how your answers affect the plan.
Your preference stays visible. Compare the reasons that matter to your study and family plan.
Your choice and our recommendation
USA
USA remains our recommendation because your answers do not show a country-level barrier in your education, available funding or family plans. You also prefer it. The sections below explain the course requirements and money documents you still need.
Admission
Course subjects, grades and selection still apply.
English
The chosen course and permit have separate evidence rules.
Money
A full course budget and accepted proof are still needed.
Family
You have not included family travelling with you.
Future
Later work and residence each have their own conditions.
What could change this direction?
A different course cost, funding decision or family priority could change the comparison. The recommendation uses the answers recorded in this report.
A confirmed course offer, its actual budget or a changed priority can give us a stronger reason to prefer this option.
F-2 family may accompany with dependent documents and funds, but an F-2 spouse cannot work. A family plan funded by that spouse’s expected earnings conflicts with this route.
Post-completion OPT normally provides up to 12 months; eligible STEM study and employer conditions can support a 24-month extension. Work must comply with the applicable authorisation and field requirements.
This option remains in your comparison. Its own admission and funding conditions apply.

Why it is not the first recommendation
Your feasible first choice resolves a country-level tie. Essential family needs favour established compatible family routes. Additional selected countries are considered without depending on their selection order. Where no personal preference survives, the established family/public-study pathway is a starting direction, not a claim of uniquely best employment or PR.
A confirmed course offer, its actual budget or a changed priority can give us a stronger reason to prefer this option.
Partner/children may apply on family grounds; composition and municipality determine additional funds. Family permits normally carry unrestricted work rights. Housing and childcare costs still need a separate plan.
After qualifying studies or research, a permit to look for work or start a business can be granted for up to two years, subject to timing and maintenance.

Study & English
USA · Master's
How you can apply
USA is a route to explore for your Master degree. Admission depends on the actual course or research position and your supporting documents.
Your previous degree, subjects and course requirements determine Master entry. A degree in the same broad field does not automatically meet every specialisation’s requirements. Universities determine Bachelor/Master/PhD entry.
Your marks stay on the scale you entered. The chosen course sets the required subjects and grades.
The next step depends on the issue. Some need a missing document; others need a different course or plan.
Turn the direction into an application
Your next step is to prepare a course application. The study and English sections explain the entry rules. The money section separates tuition, living costs and the proof needed for your funds.
Two different decisions, explained separately. Your result is compared only where a matching published rule is available.
University admission: your course requirement
The university decides accepted test types, scores and education-based waivers; no national proof that your course was taught in English-admission rule exists. English and interview consistency must match the actual application.
A course has not been matched to your application yet, so a personal required score cannot be assigned. Your test and previous English education remain separate pieces of evidence.
The university result above is an admission finding. The immigration information available here does not establish a separate numeric English minimum for your exact permit category. We therefore do not mark your visa English as passed.
Prepare I-20, DS-160 confirmation, passport, application/SEVIS receipts and academic/financial evidence. The F/M/J non-petition application fee is USD 185; SEVIS is a separate charge. A 214(b) refusal and 221(g) pending documents/processing require different responses.

You expect the rest of your funding by 1 May 2027. That date is before the tuition deadline, but the funds must actually be released and usable.
These are parts of the budget above, not extra charges added again. Living costs are spent over time; any required advance balance is explained separately below.
There is no single nationwide student-funds amount: the I-20 school cost and credible available funding are the basis. An assistantship or scholarship counts only within its awarded terms.
This is evidence of how you will support yourself. It is not a visa fee or an extra living bill. Money already counted for living must not be added a second time.
The amount and its supporting records need to tell the same story. You have recorded the money in your own account. The source of the money has not been added yet. The relevant country rule explains which account and funding records are accepted.
An application for funding and an awarded amount are different stages.
What a scholarship would change
No awarded scholarship amount is included in this budget. A possible award cannot pay a deposit until it is confirmed and available under its terms.
A tuition reduction lowers fees; it does not automatically pay rent. A monthly allowance supports living costs but may start only after enrolment. Family costs can remain outside the award.
The offer or award letter is the record needed to replace these open amounts with a funded plan.
Add the amounts you know. Your budget and loan estimates will appear in this report and PDF. Leave an amount blank if you do not know it yet.
Study budget and payment timing
Payment categories can overlap with the budget. They are a timing view and are not added on top of the same tuition/living expenses. Written refund terms decide whether and when money returns.

Your Reality Map
Life & future
USA · Each later step has its own conditions.
Reality Map
Housing that fits your comfort and safety
Room options, living costs and safer payment steps.
Start with the institution’s accommodation office
Use university residence services, recognised student-housing providers and official student associations as your first search channels. Ask for women-only, men-only or mixed options where offered, then compare commute, utilities, deposit and contract length.
Indian student associations can help with food, language and community introductions. They cannot guarantee an Indian roommate, a particular gender-only property or a room before the provider allocates it.
A shared flat usually gives you your own room with a shared kitchen or bathroom. A studio gives you a self-contained space; compare the total cost and your preferred level of privacy.
Before a housing payment
Get the landlord/provider identity, written tenancy and deposit/refund terms, a real viewing or verified institutional allocation, and the exact payee. Keep receipts; do not transfer based on a social-media promise alone.
Include arrival accommodation and a deposit reserve in the setup budget. A housing deposit may be refundable later but is unavailable for another application while held.
Places to look for a home in USA
Your study city is not entered yet. These are useful starting points; choose the city and campus before comparing rooms.
Start with your university’s accommodation service, then compare these providers and marketplaces. Their own eligibility, fees and contracts apply. A listing is a place to investigate, not a room approved by MeraAbroad.

Reality Map
Work, respect and your future path
Understand what can follow study, and the conditions for each next step.
During study
F-1 on-campus work is normally capped at 20 hours weekly during term. Off-campus employment requires the applicable authorisation; unrestricted casual work is not permitted.
Start with the university career service, authorised campus jobs, official public employment channels and employers offering written contracts. Build a local resume, relevant projects and interview practice. Work only within your permission.
For Engineering & Technology, employers evaluate your skills, language, experience and applicable licensing. A country’s shortage list does not prove that a new international graduate will get hired.
Academic prestige, job availability and social comfort are different things. Use course accreditation, employer requirements, role evidence and the family budget to assess them.
How the next stage becomes possible
Each step has its own conditions. Completing one does not automatically grant the next.
1
Complete your study or research
Keep the required academic progress and valid permission.
2
Qualify for your next permission
Post-completion OPT normally provides up to 12 months; eligible STEM study and employer conditions can support a 24-month extension. Work must comply with the applicable authorisation and field requirements.
3
Build the residence history that counts
Employment-based immigration is a separate category and employer/self-petition process with category and visa-availability constraints. An American degree or OPT does not itself grant a green card.
The ordinary citizenship route generally starts with five years as a lawful permanent resident, subject to physical presence and other requirements. Student years are not that LPR clock.
A backup gives you another route—not another promise
Prepare a second country only when it fits your study, family and budget needs in its own right. Decide in advance what would trigger a switch: an unmet course condition, a funding gap or a deadline you cannot meet.
Example: you have ₹8 lakh and ₹2 lakh is held as a deposit for the first option. Only ₹6 lakh remains usable for the backup until a refund actually arrives. “Refundable” does not mean available today. Compare the second deposit deadline with the first refund date before committing.
You can prepare shared academic records once, but each country still needs its own course reasons, funding evidence and application requirements. Switching countries does not erase a refusal or remove required disclosures. A two-country workspace is optional; buying it does not establish eligibility.
Primary: USA. Backup direction: Finland.
Apply in parallel only when each programme’s entry and documents fit and the initial non-refundable costs are affordable. You can prepare both files without paying two full tuition bills at once.
Track application fees, deposits, tuition deadlines, visa fees, written refund conditions and money still held. A refundable payment remains locked until returned.
Prepare I-20, DS-160 confirmation, passport, application/SEVIS receipts and academic/financial evidence. The F/M/J non-petition application fee is USD 185; SEVIS is a separate charge. A 214(b) refusal and 221(g) pending documents/processing require different responses.
If a visa is delayed, a later intake requires the institution’s actual deferral terms, a revised offer and any fresh finance/visa evidence. Deferral is not automatic and does not automatically transfer a visa or refund.
An agent may charge the student, receive a university commission, or both. Commission alone does not mean fraud, but a shortlist of partner universities is not the same as a comparison of every suitable option.
Ask for the service scope, student fee, institution relationship and refund terms in writing. Separate the agent’s service fee from the university’s own fee. Keep access to your accounts, see each document before it is submitted and retain the offer, payment receipt and decision.
Example: someone asks for ₹50,000 to “secure your seat”. Before paying, identify who receives it, whether it is tuition or a service charge, and the written cancellation terms. A personal transfer request plus a guaranteed visa claim is a reason to pause—not a reason to rush.
Never use invented work records, edited bank statements or answers you cannot truthfully explain. Genuine help makes the process clearer; it should not hide your application from you.
Your accounts. Your documents. Your receipts.
Use your own official application account and contact details in the real university/visa process. Keep every submitted form, receipt and decision. Pay official institutions/providers through their identified channels.
An agent’s claim of guaranteed admission, visa, job or permanent residence is not an official decision. Do not accept altered statements, fabricated employment or a borrowed balance presented as genuine savings.
This free report needs no email, phone or WhatsApp number. It does not save a profile or start follow-up. Answers stay in the open tab; the PDF you download is yours.

OPTIONAL PAID WORKSPACE
MeraAbroad Country Workspace
Inside your USA Master's workspace
An interactive, self-guided workspace for USA at Master's. You work through instructions, use the tools, write your own documents and review the application before the real application is submitted.
This free report explains the country options, your money position and the points that need attention.
THE WORKSPACE YOU BUY
Prepare the application
Work on the actual tasks: compare courses, write drafts, organise funds and documents, practise application questions and review what is still missing.
WHY WE BUILT THIS
Understand the process. Keep control.
MeraAbroad exists to help students make informed choices before paying or committing—not depend on promises they cannot evaluate.
The workspace explains the steps, gives you tools to do the preparation and helps you see what is still missing. Optional admission coordination can help with an eligible partner university; your course choice, documents and decisions remain yours.
OPTIONAL ADMISSION SUPPORT
Partner-university processing: no extra MeraAbroad fee
After buying your workspace, you can use the optional admission-coordination route for an eligible partnered university without a separate MeraAbroad coordination fee. This is university application support, not visa filing.
Support can explain the admission process, organise your genuine application records and coordinate university-side steps within the confirmed arrangement. Your exact institution, programme and study level must be eligible before this benefit is promised.
Why no extra fee? Where the partnered institution compensates MeraAbroad for eligible coordination, that payment funds this support. It does not make tuition, university application charges, visa fees, insurance or housing free. The workspace itself is still a paid product.
A partner relationship must never outweigh course fit, affordability or your interests. Buying does not make every university a partner, and choosing a non-partner university does not stop you using your preparation workspace.
YOUR VISA PREPARATION
You prepare the application. MeraAbroad does not file visas.
The paid country module is designed to guide your own preparation: understand the route, write from your real facts, organise evidence, practise the application and review unresolved points before submission.
Use the prepared records in the real official application. Where applicants submit directly, you use your own account and make your own declarations. Where the route requires a university or sponsor to apply—such as the Netherlands student residence route—you supply and review the records for that authorised handoff.
The module is preparation software, not a visa submission service, document certification or a promise of approval. If your case needs individual legal advice, that is separate from the workspace and optional admission coordination.

Visa Officer View
Your offer, money records and application answers should tell the same story. Visa Officer View helps you see whether the important parts of your plan have supporting evidence.
It uses the details and document records you enter to highlight points needing attention and direct you back to the relevant part of the workspace.
ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE · HOW THE REVIEW HELPS
01
Recent deposit
A large deposit appears in your funding history.
02
Source not recorded
The record does not yet explain where that money came from.
03
Return to funding evidence
Add the genuine source explanation and its supporting records.
This is a preparation tool, not an immigration officer or a prediction of approval. It cannot authenticate a document. The university and immigration authority make their own decisions.
WHAT YOU WORK WITH
More than instructions to read.
These tools turn the steps into work you can complete and keep. The documents and application flow adapt to your country and study level.
01
Document Studio
Know what to write, then write it in your own words. The relevant documents come with points to cover, sentence starters, complete fictional examples and an editor.
Use it for your study statement, resume and supporting explanations; doctoral documents follow the research opportunity.
02
Money and evidence tools
Put the amounts next to the records that support them. Costs, sponsors, fund sources and payment dates become a preparation plan you can explain.
Useful when your funding comes from several people, a loan or a research award.
03
Application practice
Understand the country’s questions and submission steps before using the real service. Prepare the supporting documents and appointment requirements for your route.
For institution-led routes, the workspace explains the records you hand to the institution or sponsor.
04
Interview and clarification practice
Practise explaining your course choice, funding and study history using your own facts. Examples show how an answer can be organised without giving you a story to memorise.
Use the questions relevant to your route; an interview is not part of every application.
05
Final Readiness
Review unfinished items before submission. When a key fact changes, revisit the affected documents and answers so the application stays consistent.
You leave with points to resolve, rather than treating a completed checkbox as official approval.
06
Save, return and download
Save your preparation, return to a stage and use the available document downloads and case export/restore options.
Keep original documents separately; backup contents and export formats differ by country.
Included in the price
Access to the selected country and study level: guided stages, writing and finance tools, relevant examples, application practice, Visa Officer View and final preparation review.
Costs and services outside this price
Tuition, university application fees, visa charges, insurance and accommodation are separate costs. You prepare your records; your institution or sponsor handles submission where the route requires it. Admission and visa decisions belong to the relevant institution or authority. Live expert review is not included in this workspace price.
